\u201cOther production values accentuate the play\u2019s chamber work intimacy. The majority of \u201cSeminar\u201d takes place in one apartment living room. For the most part, Kade Mendelowitz\u2019s set and lighting are serviceable and perfectly proportioned to the Salisbury Lab Theatre\u2019s modest size.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m proud of the set for this production of “Seminar”. This photo exemplifies a lot for me: the play calls for two characters to “make out”; in an effort to make it more Covid friendly I suggested a kitchen “serving window” where shadow play could be provided by the refrigerator light. The director liked it, and it worked perfectly. The set also featured some of my artwork (in the hallway), stools and other props (why I thanked Mrs. M in the playbill) and a sectional I designed and helped build (with huge thanks to Adam Gillette for doing most of the work, as he frequently does).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
